Equipment

  • Serrated Knife
  • Chef's Knife

Ingredients

  • 1 package Hawaiian rolls (12 rolls)
  • 2 ½ tablespoons Italian dressing
  • cup mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces sliced Genoa salami (can be found in the deli section at the grocery store)
  • 32 slices pepperoni
  • 4 ounces sliced deli ham
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced thin (vine or Roma tomatoes work best)
  • ¼ cup sliced banana peppers (drained and patted dry)
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce

Instructions

  • Mix the sauce: In a small bowl, mix the Italian dressing and mayo together. Set aside.
  • Prep the Rolls: Using a serrated knife, carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls attached to each other to form a top and bottom layer. Place the bottom layer on a serving tray or baking sheet.
  • Add a layer of salami, followed by pepperoni, ham, and provolone cheese.
  • Top with tomatoes, banana peppers, and shredded lettuce.
  • Drizzle the mayo and Italian dressing sauce evenly over the fillings.
  • Place the top layer of rolls back onto the sandwich stack. Cut, then enjoy! Be sure to cut the sliders with a sharp chef’s knife (do not use a serrated knife for this step or the toppings might fall out).

Notes

Storage And Reheating Instructions:
  • These sliders are best when enjoyed right away, but if you do have leftovers, tightly wrap them in kitchen plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for no longer than 2 days.
Pro Tips:
  • I recommend using firm tomatoes like Roma or Vine tomatoes for this recipe. They hold up pretty well on the sliders.
  • Genoa salami can usually be found in the deli section of your grocery store.
