Ingredients

  • 16 ounces frozen diced potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • To a medium sized bowl, add the frozen potatoes, olive oil, and seasonings. Toss until potatoes are well coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. If you do not have a preheat option on your air fryer, then heat it for 5 minutes.
  • Once the air fryer is ready, add the potatoes in a singer layer, and cook for 12 to 15 minutes until golden and crispy. Shake the air fryer basket halfway through.
  • Remove potatoes from the air fryer and enjoy as a breakfast or dinner side dish.

Notes

Recipe Variations And Substitutions:
  • Cooking oil – This recipe calls for olive oil, but you can use vegetable oil, avocado oil, or canola oil if desired.
Storage And Reheating Instructions:
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 1-3 minutes until crispy.
Pro Tips:
  • The air fryer I used to test this recipe was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. Since all air fryers vary, adjust cooking time as needed.
  • Shake the air fryer basket halfway through the cooking process for even cooking.
  • If the potatoes appear dry, then spray with additional cooking oil halfway through the cooking process.
